Our 2011 Show was a Success

This years Snowmobile Show and Auction was a little different from previous years.  We decided to open the venue up to vendors from around the area who support outdoor activities and other winter sports.  Overall we invited more than 37 new vendors to the event.  At least 15 responded a resounding yes to our invitation and were on site in the Village of Bemus Point Park and the Village Casino.

The weather was nice, the attendance was great and live entertainment was provided prior to the auction by Harbour Knights.  There was an extensive Chinese auction that was comprised of numerous items that were donated by businesses around the area.  Our membership coordinator was on hand all day to sign up new and existing members, and was busy the whole time.  Food and drink were provided by the Village Casino and their staff, who did a wonderful job as always!  We even had a visit from a talented group of young snowcross racers (Corin Todd, Andrew Faulkner, and Taylor Anderson), who traveled many miles to sign autographs and meet their fans.  As in years past, Cole Robbins of CMR auctions was on hand to administer the live auction portion of the show.  We auctioned off close to 100 items in little over 2 hours.  Thanks Cole for your continued support.

All in all, this year's show was a great success.  A huge thanks to all the volunteers that make it all happen!

The grand prize raffle winner this year was Brenda Frost.  Brenda chose the Polaris 4 Wheeler over the Polaris Snowmobile.

Second prize for a $1,000 shopping spree at Schutts Saw and Mower went to Joe Pitts.

Third prize for a 2 day, weekday stay at the Lakeside Inn Bed & Breakfast went to Bo Wright.

Fourth through eighth prize for $50 cash was won by the following: Wendy Durvonski, Dave Graham, Steve Latone, Joshua McFadden, and Conrad Mason.

We hope everyone enjoyed this year's event and look forward to seeing you there next year!
